Exclusive Invitation to Participate in ART Provides 5-Year Anniversary Exhibit and Auction

We hope you're doing well. As we prepare to celebrate ART Provides Gallery & Studio's 5-year anniversary, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for your invaluable support and contributions over the years. Your talent and creativity have played a significant role in our journey, and we are excited to commemorate this milestone with you.

To mark this special occasion, we are hosting the "ART Provides Annual Benefit & Soirée: Celebrating 5 Years of Inspiration" on November 16, 2024. We would be honored if you participated in this event by submitting a piece of art for the exhibit and an additional piece for our auction. While we usually curate shows around a theme, this time, we want to showcase something you feel best represents your work, voice, and style.

Details:

Exhibit Dates: November 16, 2024 - February 15, 2025

Submission Requirements:

  • Exhibit Piece:
    • Artwork: One piece in any medium for display.
    • Presentation: Must be professionally finished and ready to hang. This includes:
      • 2D Work: All 2D works must have a wire on the back for hanging. Canvases must have finished sides (painted or gallery wrapped). Works on paper must be framed.
      • 3D Work: Sculptures or other 3D works must be stable and ready for pedestal or floor display.
  • Size Limitations:
    • 2D Work: Maximum dimensions of 48" x 48" including the frame.
    • 3D Work: Maximum dimensions of 36" x 36" x 36" and must not exceed 50 lbs.
  • Labeling: Each piece must be labeled on the back with the following information:
    • Artist’s Name
    • Title of the Work
    • Medium
    • Dimensions
    • Year of Creation
    • Price (if for sale)
  • Submission Fee: A non-refundable submission fee of $30 per application. Payment can be made online or by check payable to ART Provides Gallery & Studio.
  • Digital Submission: Artists must submit a high-resolution image (300 dpi) of the artwork along with the submission form. Image file names should follow this format: LastName_FirstName_Title.jpg
  • Artist Statement: A brief artist statement (150-300 words) explaining the work, its concept, and the medium used.
  • Auction Piece: One artwork for auction during the benefit.
  • Information Needed: Title, medium, size, and price for each piece.

While not required, we encourage you to send us options for both the exhibit and auction pieces so we can select the best fit for the event. Your participation will enrich the exhibit and contribute significantly to our fundraising efforts, helping us continue to support the arts community.

IMPORTANT DATES:

  • Submission Deadline: Please send your submissions and required information in a single email by September 1 to [info@artprovides.org].
  • Notification: We will notify you by October 1.
  • Delivery Deadline: Accepted works must be delivered to the gallery by November 1. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the artist. Please ensure that your art is available for the duration of the exhibition. If necessary, include return labels with your artwork.
  • Pickup: Unsold works must be picked up by February 22. The gallery is not responsible for works left beyond this date.

Insurance and Liability: The gallery will take every precaution to ensure the safety of the artwork, but artists are responsible for insuring their own work.

Sales and Commissions: All sales will be handled by the gallery. The gallery takes a 40% commission on all sales plus any credit card payment method fees, if applicable. Artists will be paid within 30 days after the close of the exhibit.

Agreement: By submitting artwork, artists agree to allow the gallery to use images of the work for promotional purposes. The information from this form will be used for the display label and marketing.
