I enjoy painting Abstracts because they are freeing and exciting to do. They are actually more challenging to do well than representational pieces. Good design is essential to any good art. I teach Design and the forms that make good formats for any good piece of Art. Besides using theses techniques in my traditional paintings I enjoy using these concepts in my small and large abstracts along with playing with exciting and pleasing color choices. I think abstract art really accentuates any well designed home, or office or public space.
