Doors open at 6 pm we go until the word alchemy elixer runs out. 

All ages are welcome however this is an uncensored event.

About Darren Edwards

Darren M. Edwards is an award-winning essayist, poet, and teacher. Edwards holds a master's degree in literature and writing from Utah State University. He’s taught a diverse array of creative writing courses, workshops, and master's classes including seven years teaching at the university level (three years at USU, four years at DSU where he helped develop the creative writing program), and five years at the high school level. The Utah High School Poetry Slam named Edwards poetry coach of the year in 2020. In addition to being a member of two National Poetry Slam teams, Edwards has given over 40 featured performances of his writing. His work has been published (a total of 52 times) everywhere from university literary journals to guerilla-style street art. Edwards received the Bill Ruesch Cosmic Awareness Award for poetry and the Charlotte and Eugene England Personal Essay Award. He has also had two collections of essays and photography traditionally published.
