HERSTORY 2026

HERSTORY 2026
A Regional Exhibition Celebrating Feminine Narratives
ART Provides presented Herstory 2026, the fourth installment of a regional exhibition dedicated to elevating feminine narratives through visual art. This powerful group exhibition brought together artists from St. George and across Southern Utah, creating space for stories that were personal, political, poetic, and deeply human.
Presented as a special pop-up partnership with the Center for the Arts at Kayenta, Herstory 2026 extended ART Provides' St. George-based mission while strengthening creative connections between neighboring communities and expanding opportunities for regional artists.

About the Exhibition
Herstory 2026 explored themes of identity, care, resistance, embodiment, ancestry, and transformation. Through painting, sculpture, mixed media, photography, and other contemporary practices, participating artists offered personal and poetic reflections on the feminine experience, honoring lived stories, inherited wisdom, and the quiet strength found in becoming.
Now in its fourth year, Herstory continued ART Provides' commitment to showcasing artists who have found their voice and are ready to share it, creating exhibitions that invite reflection, dialogue, and meaningful connection across generations and communities.
A Visiting Exhibition
While hosted in Ivins, Herstory 2026 remained rooted in ART Provides' mission to support regional artists and foster meaningful access to the arts throughout Southern Utah. As a visiting pop-up exhibition, the show demonstrated the organization's ongoing commitment to bringing art experiences directly into the communities it serves.
Looking Ahead
Herstory was created as a traveling exhibition concept designed to foster dialogue, celebrate diverse feminine perspectives, and connect communities through art. ART Provides welcomes opportunities to bring future iterations of Herstory to galleries, museums, cultural centers, and alternative art spaces throughout St. George and neighboring communities.
If you are interested in hosting a future Herstory exhibition at your venue, we invite you to reach out and start a conversation. Together, we can continue creating meaningful opportunities for artists and audiences to connect through powerful visual storytelling.
