ART Provides & St George Plein Air Presents

5th Annual St. George Plein Air Festival Recap

The 5th Annual St. George Plein Air Festival brought artists and community together for a week centered on observation, presence, and place.

Throughout the week, artists painted across Southern Utah, working outdoors to capture the shifting light, color, and atmosphere of the landscape in real time. From the red rock terrain of the desert gardens to the energy of downtown, each piece tells the story of a moment—experienced, interpreted, and translated onto canvas.

What makes plein air painting so compelling is not just the finished work, but the process itself. This year, the community was invited into that process—pausing to watch, ask questions, and witness paintings come to life brushstroke by brushstroke.

Thank You!

As the week culminated in the final exhibition and awards celebration, the gallery walls reflected not just a collection of paintings, but a shared experience between artists and community.

Collectors took home original works created during the festival, continuing the life of each piece beyond the event. Proceeds from artwork sales directly support the continuation and growth of the festival, helping ensure that this tradition returns each year.

We are grateful to the artists who traveled to be part of this experience, the volunteers and partners who made it possible, and the community who showed up to engage with the work in such a meaningful way.
