ABOUT THE ARTIST

“I believe that my creative style expresses a fusion of movement, flow, color and mood within the dialogue of Impressionistic language.”

Mari Lopez is a self-taught artist involved in Art partnerships and Regional Art Programs in 5 states including Nevada, California, Arizona, Oregon and Utah. Public Art Collaborations and projects have been based in Nevada, California and Oregon which include Grant Writing and Creative Art workshops for Artists and Art Educators. Inspiring others while encouraging fresh approaches is her creative focus and purpose.

 Mari’s preferred media use is a combination of watercolor, acrylics, pearlescent, fluorescent pigments and essential oil mixtures to provide a mélange she calls “aquamedia.”

Artworks are specifically original, with no two works ever alike. Works are created on paper, canvas and metal. Steel pieces are fabricated locally and uniquely custom. After fabrication, they are painted by hand and clear-coated for luster and durability. Commissions are available by contacting the Gallery and Artist directly.
